This
course provides a solid foundation for the understanding
of the basic principles behind mobile data
networking and applications. It looks at a variety of
networking techniques and systems, expanding and
explaining a multitude of acronyms and terms, and
compares different methods of transferring data in both
wireless and fixed environments. The course is delivered
from a broadly non-technical perspective and is intended
to assist in the subsequent understanding of
several mobile data products and services by
explaining the technologies used within these
solutions. The course is highly
interactive, with team exercise that assists in
cementing new concepts while drawing on the individual
experiences and knowledge from within the
group
